bum VS claim

i had a brainchild!

from sunvalleyonline:

Ketchum Parks & Recreation received more support from City Hall today for the construction and completion of its world class Bike Park.

Mayor Randy Hall and city administrator Gary Marks joined parks & recreation director Kirk Mason and staff for a tour of the construction site at 7th Street and Second Avenue in West Ketchum led by Judd DeVall of Alpine Bike Parks, a Colorado-based design firm. The parks anticipated completion to a ride-able state is sometime next week and a grand opening celebration is scheduled for Monday, November 2.

A grand opening for the Blaine County Recreation Districts bike park, also designed and constructed by Alpine Bike Parks is set for today at 5pm. The Hailey park is located on Fox Acres Road just west of the Aquatic Center.

The brainchild of Ketchum resident Julian Tyo, the Ketchum Bike Park has seen its share of community involvement. The Blaine County School District gave the city permission to build the park on school district land and Scott USA offered to pay for Alpine Bike Parks professional touch. Without the incredible support of the community and the recognition of this parks importance by city leaders, this quite simply would not have happened, said parks superintendent Jen Smith.
